APD Global completed Stage 1 & Stage 2 design for the BESS Substation & existing Eraring Power Station (EPS) Switchyard for Transgrid (TNSP) complaint with all relevant Australian Standards & requirements of TNSP, AEMO & Origin – including NER & network operating guidelines.
APD GLOBAL DESIGNED:
- Two 330kV single circuit Transmission Line design including Civil & Structural & Foundation design;
- Pole foundations in challenging & highly variable geotechnical conditions, designed with site-specific depth & capacity;
- Three 330kV/33kV/33kV Transformer (285MVA) bays & Two 330kV Line Bays at the BESS Substation including all HV & Civil & Structural design;
- Two 330kV modification/new diameters at existing EPS Substation including all HV & Civil & Structural design;
- All building foundations within the grid connection;
- Oil/water separator & containment system to service all bunded transformers within the grid connection;
- Earthing, Electro Magnetic Field & Lightning Protection Study & Analysis;
- Substation Secondary design including loading Calculations (AC&DC), Protection Coordination, Control, Interlocking, Panels/Cubicles, Cable Schedules, Bill of Materials;
- Protection & Control equipment for all items of plant & equipment within the grid connection, including the RTIs & RNFs for the following:
- Line Protection & Control;
- Transformer Protection & Control;
- 330kV Power Quality Metering/Revenue & Check Meters & Disturbance Recorder;
- Comms panel & system.
- Substation SCADA/Automation design & integration of IEDs into new & legacy systems with remote monitoring & control;
- Substation Telecomms design including OPGW & OFC Cable design, Communication Network design, Interface Racks & Optical Distribution
