Engaged by Western Power to provide the Detail Design for two 330kV and three 132kV terminals at five strategic locations.
Works undertaken by APD also included Zone substations modification and integration as well as 12 packages of 132kV and 330kV transmission line design works, together with the design of the communication facilities.
The Clean Energy Link 330kV double circuit transmission line will connect Western Power’s Northern Terminal in Malaga to Neerabup Terminal in Pinjar and significantly enhances the carrying capacity required for renewable energy, enabling the connection of new renewable energy resources from WA’s Mid West region.

- Complete hardware designs for Quad bundle;
- Complete standard foundation designs suitable for pole capacity for new pole suite;
- Complete clearance assessment to adjacent parallel asset;
- Managed site works for geotechnical investigations & GPR scanning to feed into the design;
- Complete SRT testing & earthing design;
- Vegetation clearing plans.
