APD Global visited the Innovation and Technology Partnership Department at Suruhanjaya Tenaga, the Energy Commission of Malaysia. The discussion covered clean energy, digitalisation, next-generation grid solutions and emerging technologies that will support Malaysia’s energy transition.
The session was hosted by Dr Azlina Mohammad Jais, who leads the department, with Mohammad Faiz Bin Anuar and Nur Waheeda Wahab.

The APD Global executive team met Datuk Ir. Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan, Chief Executive Officer of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, with Ir. Amin Hussin and Ir. Md Hisham. The discussion compared Australian delivery experience with Malaysia’s energy landscape and the scope for collaboration.

The themes raised in Kuala Lumpur - clean energy, digitalisation and next-generation grid solutions - are the same problems the firm works through every day for plant connecting in Australia's National Electricity Market and Western Australia's Wholesale Electricity Market.
