Day two of CIGRE 2026 in Paris was a big one for the APD Global delegation - on the exhibition floor and in the technical sessions alike.
Sixteen engineers made the trip from Australia to Paris, a delegation 27 years in the making. The team spent the day in sessions and conversations across the Palais des Congrès, carrying Australian engineering onto the world stage - made in Australia, built for the world.
With papers spread across four study committees, the middle of the Session week is where the technical programme runs hardest: presentations, discussion groups and the corridor conversations that follow them.
