APD Global’s Future Grids team is supporting one of Australia’s largest LNG operators on a renewable power import feasibility study. The work evaluates the integration of up to 160 MW of solar and battery storage into an existing islanded power system, via a dedicated high-voltage transmission link.

APD Global supported the 200 MW Glenellen Solar Project and the 150 MW Carwarp Solar Farm through the AEMO connection and registration processes. Connection studies, market registration and grid integration - then on into R2 commissioning.
The work sat with Global Power Generation Australia, Recurrent Energy, Gransolar Group, AEMO and Transgrid.
