APD Global is delivering Western Australia’s first 4G signalling system for the Public Transport Authority, with Nokia. The work is the radio layer under the signalling - more than 80 LTE / 4.9G sites along tracks and through tunnels.
APD Global’s leadership and Nokia’s executive team reviewed the architecture before delivery: core networks, the live call environment, and the cabinet design that will host the critical equipment. The same house then builds and installs the plant.
The Forrestfield–Airport Link rack delivery is part of this rail-comms programme and has its own page.
